FAQ

Q: Advice on getting cloaking sites to a stable position in the SE’s?

A: Lots of advice on this. But, I would like to refer you to our advanced videos teaching some solid methods as they are released. They are located and will continue to be released on our Video Page

Q: Should I cloak right away or should I leave cloaking turned ‘OFF’ until it appears in the Search Engines and THEN turn cloaking ‘ON’?

A: I use cron. I don’t post date my builds into the rear using WordPress Scheduling. I only forward build.

I am comfortable cloaking immediately from day one. However, my more typical practice is to to build for awhile and then enable cloaking features after I establish some rankings. I am usually not in a rush and spend more time working to create rankings first.

Q: Once indexed in the popular Search Engines, at what rate should new posts be added?

A: I build about 1-5 pages per day (rarely ever more than 5 per day)

Q: Recommended number of keywords to target per site with cloaking?

A: Any number, so long as you do it over time with the help of cron.

Q: So, each target keywords must be a set up as a catergory – is this correct?

A: No, not really. You can target many keywords under a category. You’d just pull multiple feeds per category targeting different keywords.

Also, you can use spinner to spin in multiple keywords in the footer of each post. One way I like to do it is to make something like “Tags: {keyword1|keyword2|keyword3|etc etc}”. This will spin in whatever keywords you have there in the brackets. Spinner also has built-in tools to help you do that more easily.

I am also working on a new feature or standalone plugin that will automatically tag your posts with your keywords from a list of keywords you provide the script. This will help.

So, yes, you can target different keywords per post and per category. No major limitations there.

Q: Can the YouTube and RSS feed plugins be safely added to and used on whitehat sites without risk?

A: Adding RSS driven content will not get a site banned. At worst case, you may have to work hard with certain competitive niches or the post just won’t have significant listing power. But, that is not typically an issue.

Q: Any user forum planned?

A: We may have a forum at some point. No definite plans. I sometimes just find that they detract from productivity but, if it becomes a support necessity, we will definitely consider it.

Update: You will notice a link to the left that says “Feedback”. This link contains a “forum” area where you can ask questions, make comments and discuss Wordpress Cloaker and our other various tools, techniques and related stuff.

Q: It is my understanding that auto-blogging means all the content is generated automatically.

How do I put my partiulcar keywords into the title, meta keywords, meta description, etc to help the SEO of my blog?

Would I have to do this manually for each of the posts which are automatically generated?

Q: I’m confused about selecting my keywords. If I’m trying to sell ‘ringtones’, for example, then shouldn’t most (if not all) my keywords contain the term ‘ringtones’ in it?

Whether it be:

  • beyonce ringtones
  • download beyonce ringtones
  • get beyonce ringtones online
  • etc.

how would I NOT use the word ringtones here to avoid over-saturating that keyword?

When submitting an post to Social bookmarking sites, which pages on your blog do most of the link power go to?

A: Like with any site, the bulk of the link power typically goes to the homepage of your blog.

But, only wire submissions will submit the post page itself to the social bookmarking sites. That puts PR juice to those pages.

The homepage gets link juice dripped down to it from ALL the sub-pages due to the fact that generally all the sub-pages on your blog also link (through the ‘HOME’ link back to your homepage.

Q: I understand that most of the link power will go to my home page. But, I’m targeting a competitive niche and need to target my long tailed keywords more so I have more of a chance of getting them ranked. How can I do this?

A: You had asked previously, “Which pages do most of the link power go to?

My response was that your homepage gets ‘most’ of the link juice, which is true.

But, that’s not to say your sub-pages don’t get any link juice. They do. Your sub-pages get the majority of the bump on a link-by-link basis from onlywire submissions.

So, no worries there. They’ll get all they need to rank for the long tailed keywords.

Does WPC create pages using only the keywords I provide or does it create pages on related terms which it finds by itself?

A: See THIS POST for full response…

Q: I have heard it is not good to include the same phrase too many times for the keywords – for example, if i was doing ringtones, it would be bad to have too many `artist ringtones` keywords. What is the WPC perspective on this or the best practice here?

A: See THIS POST for full response…

I want to target about 20 prime keywords in a single blog using the Onlywire plugin to promote and build backlinks. I do NOT want to bookmark every single post I make, but I DO want to bookmark the 20 posts relating to my target keywords.
How can this be done?
